But the difference is that the teacher’s health and mental set up will affect the bringing up of children who are the future citizens. This is a humble attempt to examine what yoga can do in this area. Yoga is considered to be a tool for both physical and mental wellness. Yoga has been an integral part of life in India from time immemorial. But because of foreign invasions, Indians began neglecting their own treasures. Yoga is one of them. Now-a-days yoga has come to the front because of many reasons. This is an experimental study to explore the possibilities of yoga to maintain wellness among teachers. This is designed to assess the effect of yoga in the overall health status of the teachers in Kerala.
