Item Immediate effect of shashankasana maintance for half-an hour on energy levels, stress and anxiety level on females(S-VYASA, 2022-11-02) Mandvi Rathore; Gangotri PandaBackground: Modern life patterns affect our health in different aspects physically, psychologically, and socially. There is a need for increasing people awareness about the effect of modern life to control the effects of the patterns of life. Promoting healthy lifestyle includes proper eating, physical activity, and better way of communicating and socializing in the community. All these have positive impacts which we can easily get in practising yoga. Yoga will reduce the risk of getting so many diseases which resulted from our day to day lifestyles. Methods and Material: All subjects were recruited from S-VYASA University, Bangalore who were doing Yoga Instructor Course (YIC) and interested to take part in the study. All of them were assessed in many occasion for state trait anxiety inventory (STAI) Results: This study shows that there is a significant change in the respiratory rate, pulse rate, Bhramari time, Area, stress and anxiety which was p<0.05. Conclusion: This study clearly showed that the practice of the Shashankasana for 30 mins has improved various physiological variables like Respiratory rate, pulse rate, stress and bhramari time. A sensation of vibration is experienced during audible ‘OM’ chanting. This has the potential for vagus nerve stimulation through its auricular branches and the effects on the brain thereof. Aims To assess Immediate Effects of Om chanting on Healthy Adults. Materials and Methods In this study 50 healthy people included both male and female are chanting OM for 30 minutes with ease without any distraction. Tools such as GDV, pulse oximeter, BP apparatus, nostril dominance mirror were used to measure the parameters along with that STAI questionnaire for measuring the anxiety level. Result – Total of 50 participants included in this study. Intervention of Om chanting was given for 30 minutes for experimental group. 50 people divided into two groups, 25 people in experimental group and 25 people in control group. PRE and Post data were taken. Found good result in many 7 variables. Conclusion There will be good improvement by chanting OM for 30 minutes without any distraction and disturbance in energy level in the body, chakras level, organs level, RR, SPO2, ND, BP and lungs capacity. K.Item Effect of Gayatri yajia on human stress and energy level in patients with common chronic diseases(Svyasa, 2016-01-01) Poonam SharmaAim: To find the effect Gayatri yajia of subtle energy parameters of patients suffering from common chronic diseases. Methods and Material: 32 participants from Arogyadhama, Prashanti Kutiram attended one hour Gayatri yajia session on every week end for 5 weeks. GDV/EPI data was taken before and after the session of the respective week. Data analysis: BIO-WELL software was used for data extraction and paired sample t-test was applied. Results: There is no significance improvement (p>0.06) in the Stress level score, but reduced. Though it showed increase in energy level (6.71), there is no statistical significant increase (p>4.45). The balance score was showed trend to change negatively, but was not significant (p>0.729). There is no statistical significant difference (p<0.522) in the organ balance score increased. The analysis showed no change in entropy level. There is a significant change (P<0.00) in the Form Coefficient scores increased. Conclusion: Gayatri Yajna reduced the stress level and increased energy level. Organ balance increaed indicating supportive mechanism for health and Entropy level stayed constent and form coefficient increased but negatively.
