dc.description.abstractObjective: To measure the explosive muscle power in visually impaired students. Methods and materials: the explosive muscle power in visually impaired students is measured using (i) vertical jump test (ii) Tennis ball through test. Forty students were studied in two sessions i.e. yogic exercise and Physical Therapy(PT). In each session 20 students were there. Result: The baseline scores were matched in TBT and SHJ (P>0.05). Between group there were not significant changes were found. There is a significant improvement in TBT (P<0.01, paired „T‟ TEST) in yoga group. But not in control(PT) group. Similarly, SHJ showed non- significant improvement in both yoga and control group. Conclusion: There was an improvement in explosive muscle power in visually impaired students.
